For stains it is essential to act quickly; liquids should be absorbed with a white absorbent cloth. Non-greasy stains can be removed by gently dabbing with a damp sponge or a lint-free white cloth. Evaluate effectiveness of cleaning agents on small, out-of-sight areas. Avoid using abrasive products, concentrates, solvents or bleaches. Regular care preserves the appearance and durability of rope elements. Dust and dirt should be removed periodically with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush. Avoid abrasive tools such as scouring pads, sandpaper, or aggressive sponges. Rinse with clean water if needed to remove surface dust. For stains, gently dab with a microfiber cloth soaked in lukewarm water and mild soap. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry. Do not use bleach, chlorine-based products, or harsh solvents.
