For brushed, polished, or chromed finishes, clean with a cloth soaked in neutral detergent, household degreaser, or alcohol, then rinse and dry; avoid abrasive cleaners, ammonia, and solvents that can damage the surface. Brushed bronze should be cleaned with a neutral detergent or degreaser using a microfibre cloth, followed by rinsing and drying, while avoiding alcohol, ammonia, and abrasive products. Antique brass requires similar care—clean with neutral detergent or degreaser, rinse well, and dry completely, avoiding alcohol, ammonia, and harsh cleaners to preserve the patina.
